To create new Discipline Referrals in SchoolWise left click on the File Menu - District Setup - Discipline Setup as seen below:
This will bring up the Student Discipline Setup form where you see two page tabs one for Referral Offenses and the other for Suspension Offenses. PLEASE DO NOT EDIT or CREATE any new items in the Suspension Offenses as these are linked to CALPADS codes and Ed Code. Any alterations under that page tab can have unintended consequences with CALPADS submissions and/or state reporting. ONLY use this form to Add/Edit Referral Offenses as seen selected below:
If you only wish to Edit an existing Referral Left click and highlight the Referral you wish to Edit, type over the Offense Text to change the name, and/or click on the pull-down menu to change the Severity. Once you have made changes be sure to save using the Save icon in the toolbar (top left) or Ctr+S - as seen below:
To add or create a new Referral, Right click anywhere in the list of Referrals and you will see the options presented below:
Choose Add New Referral. Edit the Severity and Add your name text and click Save.
Once you have created New or Edited existing Referrals you may have to log out and then back into SchoolWise for your new sleections to become available.
