For students who are being evaluated for special education services but who are not currently enrolled in a school at the LEA, the enrollment start date should reflect the parental consent date. The following steps can be taken so that the student is included in the CALPADS SENR SSID Enrollment file.
1) Set school enrollment type to 'Non ADA Enrollment'
2) Create a non ADA course for each required grade level. Add a section and enroll the student in the class.
3) Exit the student from the school on the next day and set reason to N470.
4) Set the Option parameter to 'Include Non-ADA Students'. All students exited with an N470 reason will have their End Date replaced with Start Date -1 (eg. If the Start Date is '10/17/2019', the End Date in the export will be '10/16/2019').
