This gradebook is similar to other teacher gradebooks with very important distinctions:
Class Rosters Auto-Populate
As soon as class sections are established in the school office SchoolWise system the teacher�s' gradebooks automatically see the class enrollments. When new students enroll or others exit those changes are also immediately reflected in the gradebooks. Teachers always have up-to-date rosters.
Gradebook Data Is Immediately Available For Administrators To Analyze
Traditionally school administrators only know how students are performing in classes at the end of a term or progress report period. At-risk students are often not discovered until it is too late for intervention. Using the SchoolWise gradebook all of the letter gradebook data is available to administrators the instant teachers enter it. Progress reports can be run daily to know how every student is doing in every class in real time.
Additionally if an administrator wants to see only at risk students a parameter could be set to show for example only students with below a 70% average in any class:
Doing this brings up all of the students who are doing poorly in any of the classes.
At the end of the term (quarter or semester) teachers push a button and all of the final grade automatically populate the report card data in SchoolWise and can then be printed. Below is an example of one of the dozens of available report card layouts.
