Enable Text Comments for Letter Gradebook Report Cards - enable written comments for teachers if their particular report card supports this feature
If enabled the letter grade gradebook receives a Report Card (RC) text box where teachers can type comments for the report cards
Report card marks for a class and term can be entered or changed by teachers using the Letter Gradebook.
By default, Report Card Marking Periods are unlocked 3 weeks before the current term ends, and then locked again 30 days after the term ends. Teachers are only able to enter or change report card marks when the marking period is unlocked.
School administrators can override the default date-based lock behavior by manually locking or unlocking each marking period.
