The setup for standards-based gradebooks is slightly different from that of letter-grade gradebooks.
The Marking System is set to Skills instead of Letter.
The lower elementary grades may as few as have three courses:
•Math
•Language Arts
•Other Skills & Behaviors
The basis for determining how many courses to establish is the number of gradebooks that teachers want to have. There is one gradebook created for every section of a course that a teacher teaches.
