Web-Foundation - Includes both Standards-based and Traditional Letter Grade gradebooks, Classroom attendance & Meal Counts, Report Cards, Web Reports, Parent Portal with CAASPP scores and many other features.
There is a huge difference between Standards-based and Traditional Letter Grade grading. Letter Grade grading uses an A - F scale and is mostly used from middle school through university. Standards-based grading follows Common Core and is the standards used by the CAASPP. Its scale generally is 1 - 4 where 1 is low and 4 is high. It is generally used for Kindergarten through fifth grade and tends to used optionally in middle school.
Letter-Grade Gradebook
This gradebook is similar to other teacher gradebooks with one main distinction: class rosters auto-populate.
As soon as class sections are established in the school office system, the teacher’s gradebooks automatically synchronize with the current class enrollments. When new students enroll or others exit, those changes are immediately reflected in the gradebooks. Teachers always have up-to-date rosters.
At the end of the term (quarter, trimester, or semester), teachers click a button and all of the final grades automatically populate the report card system and can be printed. Below is an example of one of the dozens of available layouts for report cards.
Standards Based Gradebook
The Standards Based Gradebook and Report Card System is for use primarily in elementary schools using Common Core Standards. The standards are 100% customiazble for every grade level.
